Acceptance
By using Metal3D.ai, submitting an RFQ, uploading files, or communicating with our team, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service
Metal3D.ai provides parametric AI product design drafts and engineer-reviewed workflows for custom metal parts manufacturing, including CNC machining, metal 3D printing, CAD design, DFM review, finishing, quote preparation, production coordination, quality review, and shipping support.
AI product design currently supports L brackets, round flanges and open boxes with STEP and STL exports when the service is enabled. These files are design drafts and do not include toolpaths or approval for manufacture. Review dimensions, loads, interfaces, tolerances, material and process suitability before production.
Quotes, lead times, process recommendations, and manufacturability notes are not final until reviewed and confirmed by our engineering team and manufacturing partners.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate CAD files, drawings, material requirements, tolerances, quantities, destination information, and end-use information. You confirm that submitted projects are not for unlawful, sanctioned, restricted military, or otherwise prohibited end uses.
You must have the right to upload any CAD files, drawings, specifications, or other materials you submit.
Engineering Review and Manufacturing
AI-generated summaries, DFM notes, and email drafts are assistive only. Production decisions, quoted pricing, tolerances, inspection requirements, and delivery commitments require human review and may depend on factory confirmation.
Tight tolerances, regulated industries, certifications, special inspections, and export-controlled projects may require additional review or may be declined.
Payments and Orders
Payment terms are provided with each quote. Production starts only after quote acceptance, required technical clarification, compliance review when applicable, and payment or approved payment terms.
Confidentiality
We treat uploaded manufacturing files and RFQ details as confidential business information and use them to provide the requested service. We may share necessary information with internal staff, partner factories, logistics providers, and service providers involved in the workflow.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metal3D.ai is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, RFQ review, manufacturing coordination, or shipment delays.
